Midwest Agriculture holds a wealth of opportunity in this emerging and dynamic carbon economy.  This Summit provides ag leaders an opportunity to define emerging carbon policy questions that will lay the groundwork for future policy work in this rapidly evolving carbon economy.

In February 2008, over 200 ag and energy leaders from across the Midwest braved a record breaking Madison winter to attend the 2nd Annual Midwest Ag Energy Summit.  Proceedings are available at www.midwestagenergy.net. Building on the huge success of the first two Ag Energy Summits, the Network is planning the 3rd Annual Summit to be held December 15 & 16, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare, located just outside of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.

The 3rd Annual Midwest Ag Energy Summit: “Policies to Prosper in the New Carbon Economy” will bring together 200-250 Midwestern ag leaders to network, collaborate, and learn how regional networks are shaping and will continue to shape agriculture and energy policy that impact the development of the carbon economy and our energy future.

Midwest agriculture holds a wealth of opportunity in this emerging and dynamic carbon economy. This Summit will provide ag leaders an opportunity to define emerging carbon policy questions that will lay the groundwork for future policy work in this rapidly evolving carbon economy.

We hope your company/organization will consider sponsoring the 3rd Annual Summit of the Midwest Ag Energy Network.  This conference would not be possible without the generous support of sponsors.  Sponsorship benefits are listed, below. Contact us with any questions!
